This thirty minute performance explores the ways that caretaking/receiving in our communities and families create possible ways to belong or impossible ways to be in exile. Historical research and personal narratives of dementia, institutions and self-care are conveyed with live animations, dance and music. In their very first collaboration visual artist Kerri Flannigan and dancer Claire Lyke (along to the tunes of Kay Pettigrew) submit three entries towards an Anthology of Belonging.
